1	PP sediment filter	Absolute 5-micron rate Polypropylene Fiber Cartridge with 3-layers density technology helps remove the dust, rust & other suspended particles (Silt, Scale, Sediment, Coarse Sand, and Sand) from the water.
2	Granular Activated Carbon filter	A carbon filter acts as the pre-filter which removes contaminants through adsorption where contaminants are attracted to the surface of the activated carbon and are held there. Carbon has the ability to absorb almost any type of gas and molecules. When gases react with the surface of an activated carbon filter, it is absorbed down and condensed into liquid particles. Carbon filters are extremely porous and have a large surface area, which makes them effective at reducing bad tastes, odors, and other chlorine chemicals. GAC filtration is the first level for improving the taste and odor of the water after sediment filtration.
3	CTO Block Carbon Filter	The structural design of the high-quality carbon block CTO water filter cartridges provides a high chemical absorption rate. Due to their larger surface area, carbon block filters have a better contaminant removal capacity than GAC filters. A major advantage of carbon block filters is that they allow for water to be in contact with carbon for a longer period, which leads to a better rate of contaminant removal.
4	Ultra-Filtration membrane	However, CTO removal does not deal with larger particles or bacteria the water might contain. Here comes the Ultra-Filtration membrane that can remove pathogens and bacteria from water by using physical barrier filtration up to 0.01 Microns. Unlike reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration retains minerals in the water, while filtering out the unhealthy bacteria, viruses, and parasites.
5	Post inline carbon filter	Post Carbon Filter is the final stage that polishes the water for a sparkling taste. Made with cleaned coconut husk carbon, a post-activated carbon filter gets rid of unpleasant smells and removes all the residual chlorine, cloudiness, unnatural tastes, odors, and volatile organic chemicals while improving & enhancing the purity and taste of your water.

Note:

• This system has low effects on the TDS level but removes all biological impurities.
• All water filters need proper maintenance, which is crucial, or they may no longer be able to clean the water properly. For better performance and increased life of the system, we recommend cartridge replacement (First 3 stages) and service of the system every 3 months.
• Periodic flushing of the UF membrane is recommended to remove contaminants, and a backwash valve is built into the system.
• Post Carbon Filter cartridge and UF (Ultrafiltration) cartridge should be replaced After 2 years.

WHICH IS BETTER UF OR RO?

Ultrafiltration (UF) is a membrane filtration process similar to Reverse Osmosis. The ultrafiltration membrane can separate tiny particles up to 0.01 to 0.1 microns, whereas a reverse osmosis membrane can separate more tiny materials up to 0.0001 microns. Taste-wise, ultrafiltration does retain minerals which affect how the water tastes. While a Reverse osmosis process eliminates virtually everything in the water including the majority of dissolved minerals and dissolved solids (TDS) producing a mineral less or flavorless water in its purest form. In Ultrafiltration (UF) process the hydrostatic pressure forces a liquid against a semi-permeable membrane to block suspended solids and some solutes of high molecular weights, while low molecular weight solutes can pass through the UF membrane. On the other hand, a reverse osmosis system provides the most extensive filtration because the RO membrane has the smallest pore size. Another difference is that the ultrafiltration system can also operate on low water pressures, but a reverse osmosis system needs a booster pump to increase the water flow because of the smallest pore sizes. Therefore, more costly than the UF system. When strategically compared with other purification systems, UF is ideal for the removal of colloids, proteins, bacteria, pyrogens, proteins, and macromolecules larger than the pore size of the membrane. And a Reverse Osmosis water purifier system is ideal to remove both organic and inorganic compounds such as Fluoride, dissolved impurities, and Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) from the water down to 1/10,000 of a micron, reducing arsenic, lead, parasitic cysts, copper, and more. So, Ultrafiltration is not fundamentally different from reverse osmosis, except in terms of the size of the molecules it retains. The method you need depends on the quality of water you have at your premises and the level of water purification you need or want for yourself.
